Privacy policy

Family Love ("we") is an app for families to use together. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with and how you can delete it.

Information we collect

• Account: your phone number (mainland China numbers only), or your email address and password (we only store a hashed password); your nickname and profile photo.
• Content you and your family add: medicines (names, usage, expiry dates, photos of the box), expense entries, children's names, gender, birthdays, height and weight, photos and videos, to-dos and plans. Everyone in your family can see this content.
• Voice: when you hold to talk, the recording is sent to a speech-to-text service and deleted right after it's transcribed. We don't keep recordings.
• Usage: we count how many times you use AI features each day to enforce fair-use limits. Server logs briefly keep access information such as IP addresses to prevent abuse and fix problems.

We don't collect your location or contacts and don't use advertising IDs. There are no ads or third-party analytics in the app.

Permissions

• Camera: to photograph medicine boxes and take photos and videos of your children.
• Microphone: to record your voice when you hold to talk.
• Notifications: to remind you before medicines expire.

How we use information

Only to provide the app's features: storing your content and syncing it with your family, recognizing medicine boxes, filing what you say in the right place and answering your questions. We don't sell your information or use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

The following service providers process data only to provide the features above. They may be located outside your country or region:

• Cloudflare: the servers that store accounts, family data, photos and videos.
• DeepSeek: AI features. Photos of medicine boxes are sent when recognizing medicines. When you hold to talk or ask AI, what you said is sent along with the family data needed to answer, such as medicines in your cabinet, expense totals and to-dos.
• Soniox: transcribes recordings, which are deleted afterwards.
• Alibaba Cloud: sends SMS verification codes when you sign in with a phone number.

Apart from these, we only disclose your information when required by law.

Security

All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and passwords are stored only as hashes. A family's data can only be seen by members of that family.

Deleting your account and data

Open Me → Delete account in the app, or delete it on the web: https://family-love.enconvo.org/delete-account

• Your account, profile photo and all sign-ins are deleted immediately.
• If you're the last member of your family, all of the family's data is deleted too: medicines, expenses, children and growth records, photos and videos, to-dos and plans.
• If other members remain, the content you shared stays with them and is no longer shown as added by you.

Server logs are removed automatically within 30 days.

Children

Family Love is meant for adults. Parents can record information about their children, but children should not create accounts.

AI and health

AI answers and recognition results can be wrong and are not medical advice. Always follow the medicine's label, and ask a doctor or pharmacist when in doubt.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above, and tell you in the app about important changes.
